In what was very emotional time for myself, the professional service I received following the death of my wife Ann was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble particularly Ricci who was so caring and compassionate in my visits when arranging things. Dad’s funeral was handled brilliantly from the moment we enquired in the Chislehurst branch! Robin and Sharon were amazing! Once we decided upon Welham Jones everything was made simple, removing the stress and nothing was too much trouble, they dealt with everything!

They arranged collecting dad, as he had passed away in hospital, and then began organising everything else. From designing the Order of Service, contacting the priest, arranging the organist, help with choosing the funeral package and deciding on the coffin and cars, everything was handled brilliantly

On the day, Janet and the team were absolutely brilliant, arriving early and taking the time to explain every step that would take place. The cars were luxurious and we took a slow drive to the church arriving early, the day could not have been more perfect. Thanks to Welham Jones, I feel that dad received the send off he deserved, I would highly recommend their services.

Thank you for yesterday’s good news email. I’m so glad my aunt’s cleaned and newly inscribed memorial stone is now in place. I shall be letting her old friend know so she can go along with flowers.

The photo you sent is lovely and most welcome. The stone looks wonderful, you’re right, it has cleaned up really well and your work is beautiful. You are to be applauded for the quality of your work and again I want to say a huge thank you for all your support and the great care you have taken.

You definitely had an impact with the relationship you built up with mum to ensure that Nanas day was special and mum and Barrie arranged a great wake afterwards..

I was really pleased that I came to see her before the funeral and had the chance to see her again.

Dear Sam and all wonderful dear others who cared for Peter, we thank you all. Firstly Sam, to you personally, as the main face of Welham Jones we most saw, for everything you did to make our journey though the maze of detail that follows when a loved one dies and arrangements have to be made to say goodbye. Where does one begin? Well, with you dear Sam at the helm of our distress, we managed to take the journey with your unbelievable help and guidance, to the truly beautiful service of farewell Peter, David and I could possibly have shared. You were our rock and we don’t really know what we would have done without you on the front line, and all those important others. We know there are many wonderful people involved behind the scenes of a bereavement, and the consequent funeral service, so we want to give our heartfelt thanks to all of these people please, everyone, from the two caring and gentle men who took Peter from his home to you, and who left a yellow rose on the pillow of his bed, and who subsequently bore Peter into the Crematorium. To those in Dunton Green who cared for Peter whilst he was with you, to Esther our other e:mailist and telephone contact, to give but a few, and finally of course to Simon who led Peter’s funeral cortege and who was so caring of Peter’s entry to the Crematorium whilst making sure David and I were gently guided into the service.
