Funeral Arranger

Prior to joining Welham Jones, I worked as an EA/PA in the City for over 30 years. After redundancy in 2017 and taking some time-out, I knew that I wanted to work locally, in a role where I could hopefully make a positive difference to people. A friend told me that Welham Jones were looking for a Funeral Arranger at their Chelsfield and Orpington branch, and I knew instantly that this was the vocation I was looking for.

My role has proven to be more fulfilling than I could have imagined.  Helping families at what is arguably the worst time in their lives is such a privilege.  We are being entrusted with the care of their loved one and ensuring the service is everything the family wish for.  It’s such an honour and something I take very seriously.
Outside of work I love travel and adventures to new places here and abroad, but most importantly time spent with my husband, friends and my precious little Pickle, my three-legged rescue cat.
