Within Welham Jones my duties are first-call responder, chauffeur and bearer, hearse driver and mortuary assistant. I like all the different aspects of the job and I feel it is a respectable and honourable role, which I like.
I live in Tonbridge with my wife, who is a Vicar; we have been here for over seven years. My wife had a calling to become a vicar while I was working for an international courier company. We had a role reversal, in which I became a ‘house husband’ and cared for our two children. We moved to Cambridge for two years so my wife could pursue her calling to become a Vicar.
In my personal life, I enjoy mountain biking or running with the dog ‘Monty’ and real Ale, but not at the same time!!
