Laura Nicoll

I have worked at Welham Jones as a part-time Funeral Arranger for just over three years, my journey starting in the Tunbridge Wells office and then moving to the Sevenoaks branch in April 2023.

It was a lovely move changing my job to a family run business and I do love the team I am in. The care and consideration involved in the role is a true reflection of what it is like to be part of the team here.

I have lived in Tonbridge the majority of my life and previously worked and volunteered part-time for eight years within community clubs, such as The Angel Indoor Bowls Club and The Tonbridge Angels. I have a daughter and love spending time with family. Prior to having children, I worked in London in the insurance/construction industry for over 10 years.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking, local walks, pub quizzes and travel, when given the opportunity.  I love collecting vintage items and even have a vintage caravan we use named “Peggy”. We have cats named Hector and Luna.
