Job Vacancy: Out of Hours Funeral Removals – zero hours contract

Position Type: Out of Hours (On-Call) – 2 Weeks On, 2 Weeks Off Rota
Location: West Kent & SE London

We are a well-established, family-run funeral service provider looking for a dedicated individual to join our team for out-of-hours funeral removals. This is a vital role in supporting families during difficult times, and we’re looking for someone with a caring and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct out-of-hours removals of the deceased in a respectful and dignified manner.
Be available on a two-week on, two-week off standby rota (including weekends).
Ensure safe and professional transportation at all times.
Provide excellent customer service while working closely with our funeral directors.

What We’re Looking For:

A reliable, respectful, and compassionate individual.
Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting.
A full clean UK driving license is essential, over 25 years in age for insurance.
A professional appearance with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – training will be provided.

Working Hours:
The out of hours role follows a two-week on, two-week off rota, providing a balanced work schedule, or enable you to work around other roles.
