A single appointment works well for some families, but not all. If relatives are spread across different time zones or waiting on travel connections, or if in-laws and close family would rather visit separately, spreading visits across several days usually feels calmer than trying to fit everyone into one slot.
If it’s already been a couple of weeks since the death, it’s easy to assume you’ve missed the chance to visit. That’s very rarely true. Our Borough Green team can talk you through what’s realistic once you call, rather than you having to guess.

Each visit uses the same quiet, private room, away from the busier parts of the funeral home, and there’s no rule limiting how many times your family can come back before the funeral. We’ll simply ask you to give us a little notice so the room’s free when you need it.
Daytime visits during our normal opening hours are included as part of arranging a funeral with us, however many times your family would like to come back. An evening, weekend or bank holiday visit can sometimes carry a small additional charge, which we’ll always confirm before you commit to anything. There’s a written estimate before any arrangement is agreed, and no hidden fees.
We’re an independent, family-run funeral director, and the same funeral arranger stays with your family throughout, so you’re not re-explaining what you need to someone new each visit.
Many Borough Green families still have relatives across Wrotham, Ightham and Meopham, and we’re used to coordinating visits around a wider family spread across the villages. Outside office hours, our 24/7 team is still available.
